i usually go with the Post Office but having read some of the other quotes I've noticed they don't seem to do great cover for lost baggage etc. Can anyone help me through this minefield please?
We are a family of x 2 adults and 3 kids.
I'm not too worried about it being the cheapest as long as it gives the best cover.(well to an extent anyway!). I have looked at the M&S one which didn't look too bad.
Also,I can't remember whether you're supposed to put the flight dates as the dates to be covered on the insurance or whether it's the date you leave home to the date you arrive back. Any travel experts out there?

I went to compare the market and sussed out which one I liked best from there.

I don't know what cover you're looking for, but they do give a good number of quotes.

They're not independent though (I don't think) so only sponsored companies included.

They are cheap though! We booked with Columbus Direct and saved loads. Someone will now, no doubt, tell me how rubbish Columbus are, but I guess we'll find out if we have to claim (which hopefully we won't have to!).

Hope you find what you're looking for.
