Just after some advice to settle a conversation with my other half!
we are going on our first family holiday abroad this year, little one will of just turned 3.

We currently still use the pram for school runs etc. Hubby thinks when we go away we won’t need a pushchair and little one will be ok!
Am I being over cautious to say I would rather take one! I would rather take one and not use it as much as I expect rather than not have one at all!

I think it will be useful for if we go for little walks etc as well as maybe naps in the afternoon as it will be hot and will enable us to be up later!

Also looking at strollers with a higher weight limit. Silvercross Pop looks ok - anyone know any other good ones? And last question, they just go in the hold don’t they? Thanks (not anxious about this holiday at all!!!)

Yes, I would take one - found some of the small fold down ones that fit in hand luggage were brilliant! Mine was a pocket+ I think. Just check upper weight limit. Otherwise one that goes in the hold is fine.
So useful if you are out and about and little one just needs a rest or sleep.

We found it great for him to sleep in when we were at the bar in the evening, it was great when we walked into town as it was quite a distance. Make sure you put it in a aeroplane bag. It was also great to bring all the towels and stuff from the room to the pool.

Definitely take one, I found it great in the evenings or for longer walks

I'm with your husband. We have two children. 23 month gap. My eldest hasn't used a pushchair regularly since the youngest was about 5/6 months. I definitely wouldn't be buying a new pushchair for a single holiday.

Holidays were the one place we did take a buggy, long after 3yo stopped using it at home. They're tireder out of routine and it's useful to have a back up.

Id take one 100%. You can rent them from various websites if you don’t want to buy, although I’m not sure it’s hugely cheaper.
