Birmingham Airport to Shopping District

Heading over for one night with my mam, my sis and my DD. What's the best way to get from Airport to Shopping District?

Train straight from international to new street. Couldn’t be easier!! Use the monorail from the airport to international (very short journey) then train to new street.

What PP said, assuming you want Birmingham City centre to shop?

Resorts world is close to the airport but very limited shops.

Train from the Birmingham international station to Birmingham New Street (city centre). It’s 8-10 mins journey and they are pretty frequent.

Yes it's for shopping. It's actually more to get my mam on a plane again. She hasn't been on a plane in about 8 years since she had a stroke and was left with an aneurism which was finally removed last year. My Dad would really love to go away but would never force her or go without her so we've managed to get her to agree to go as far as Birmingham from Dublin just to get her in the air again.
