European holidays via le shuttle

We're thinking of taking a family holiday abroad this year. We would drive over on le shuttle. I'm thinking of going to France, Holland or Belgium. Is there any good websites for holiday cottages? Thanks

A cottage on a holiday site or more like a house on a residential street?

We usually find places in France on vrbo.

Think we’re going to do a mix of a gite & something on a huttopia site this year.

Have a look at Hutopia , Landal , yelloh ! , Sandaya , Siblu , Canvas or Europarcs. Lots of choice depending what sort of holiday you want .

Landal.com, roompot, com and european CPs - which tend to be much cheaper than UK. Also the campsite companies already mentioned, And Duinrell. For France - https://www.babyfriendlyboltholes.co.uk/ gives an excellent overview of various gite complexes - though you can of course then look them up directly. I can really recommend Le Banquet in the Dordogne and Logis du Pressoir in the Loire with kids.

For France one of the best places to look for rentals is the local tourist office website. You will find ones on there that aren't listed anywhere else plus ones that are listed everywhere. If you know the town or region where you are going it is well worth a look.

Squiillionaire · 10/02/2025 23:48

The tourist office will have lists of individual houses, apartments, holiday complexes, hotels, campsites, everything in the town or region really.
