Albania from Uk

hi! I keep eyeing up Albania as a summer destination, it would be me and my kids who are 11 and 13.
had anyone holidayed there and has any tips like where to fly from? We live in the West Midlands but don’t mind a couple of hours drive to an airport.
where did you stay and what did you get up to while there?

We went for the day on a cruise ship, docked at Sarande
Went to Blue Eye and a Fort thats now a restaurant on a view point it was great day out, the town is just like any other tourist place, just look at the reviews when we went we were told to avoid the beach as it was polluted, but to be honest we just didn't have time to go, so best to check. Not sure if it's as cheap as it was too.

Blue eye was great but very bad road to it.
