Cruising Iceland to Norway

Hi we are thinking about a cruise from Southampton to Iceland with our 19 year old
We have been looking at the Princess cruise ship . I’m really looking for tips please would a 19 year old be fed up

Depends on your 19 year old. There would be a lot of sea days, and Princess isn’t really geared up for teenagers. One of mine would be bored stupid, the other would just play video games and watch films, though they would both enjoy the time off board. Iceland is wonderful

the first one would be partying wildly on a Virgin cruise, mind you

Thanks for your reply would you say the princess is more for older people ?
No disrespect but I recall in my 30’s going on a MSC cruise which was full of elderly

Norwegian and Royal Caribbean are more geared for teens. But then 19 is perhaps a little past the climbing wall/ surf rider / Teen Club stage?

how does he generally amuse himself?

You might want to check whether a 19 year old is allowed to drink on a princess cruise as some of the American ones have a minimum age of 21.
