I highly recommend cinderellas castle for fine dining, and the princess experience. The food really was excellent

Does she want character dining? What hotel are you in?

Is a 13yo going to be interested in princesses? We thought the food was awful in Cinderella's castle, and Chez Remy. Best food was at our hotel.

How about breakfast instead, the Plaza character breakfast was pretty good.

I haven't eaten in either but people seem to like the pirates of the Carribbean restaurant or Walts. My daughter is similar age, and quite a young for her age I would say, but I am pretty confident she wouldn't want to dine with princesses.

Lillybobs86 · 06/02/2025 15:54

Thank you both, No to princesses I'm afraid she's a teenager :)
We have breakfast at the hotel already booked and will have light lunch at McDonald's so wanted to do a nice dinner to end the day.
Haven't been for a couple years and had a look at the list and so far favourited Toad hall and Silver spur?
Not sure if there's any reviews on those or what's best x

What time does the park close on the day of her birthday? If it's say 8pm fireworks, you might be better maxing out ride time and eating in the village at Brasserie Rosalie at 8:30pm.

TeamGeriatric · 06/02/2025 15:59

Toad hall usually shuts at 5pm versus 8pm for Silver Spur steakhouse if that helps.

MrsSkylerWhite · 06/02/2025 16:00

At 13, could you take her into Paris for the evening on the train?

kikisparks · 06/02/2025 16:01

Toad hall is fast food on trays. It’s nice enough food but not a special birthday meal location.

Dalmationspots · 06/02/2025 16:05

Walt's on Main street was lovely. You'll have to book in advance on the app

kikisparks · 06/02/2025 17:09

Maybe captain jacks? I’ve not had the food but a 13 year old may enjoy eating in that location.

Inmyownlittlecorner · 06/02/2025 18:44

Walt's is lovely, Silver Spur is hit & miss. We love Downtown at the Marvel Hotel. Probably the best meal we've had there in the last 10 years!

Florally · 06/02/2025 18:54

Remy’s is lovely as is the pirates restaurant. My daughter would chose those at that ago hands down.

Oh that's really helpful so glad you said that - that's off the list then thank you

Captain Jacks is very atmospheric , have a look at the menu though because it’s not to everyone’s taste .
