Reasonable place to stay Dublin

Hi as a family of 4 we need to travel to Dublin the week before Easter and stay for 3 days - we don't have loads of money ( uni costs killing us) and the flights are ok price wise but accommodation seems pricey .
Can anyone recommend anywhere they've stayed that wasn't too bad ???

do you need to stay in the city centre? You’ll get better value if you can go out along the Dart line a bit.

The premier inns are quite reasonable. Or what about an air b and B.
