Hi does anyone know the answer to this I can't seem to get an answer out of anyone 🙈

I added a middle name to my daughters original name it was amended on the birth certificate and it was done under the age of one so no deed poll needed.

She already had a passport prior to this name change but my question is do I need to do her a new passport now she's got an extra middle name? Thanks in advance

Don't quote me but I believe it's not necessary to change passport. I found the info quite easily when doing a similar thing

No, because nobody who looks at the passport will know. Just ask for the new middle name to be added when you renew the passport (there is a space on the form for changes of name) and send in a copy of the birth certificate.

If at any point between now and the renewal you need to apply for a visa or travel authorisation (e.g., the new ETIAS, coming soon for the EU), just make sure that what you put matches the passport exactly.
