Current passport renewal times

Hi All,

I have to fly to my home country soon to visit family and I'm panicking because it was unplanned and my passport is expired!

How long did your passport renewals take if you done them recently please?

It's so annoying because I have to put a no visa on mine after top which is another 2 weeks apparently.

And also, we called the travel agent and they said how they need my new passport with a no visa on it to book flight tickets and can't just use passport number 😭😭😭 that just means the prices are going to up. Its already mad expensive.

Also, if my cousins book their tickets first like now, would I be able to book once my passport with no visa comes through and be able to book seats next to them?

Any help would be much appreciated

It took 8 days for me and arrived last week

There's a website that tells you current passport times as I'm in the same boat. Been waiting 5 days so far. But judging by the most recent update as of today. It's 9 days for an adult renewal.

Did mine before Christmas and it was 6 days start to delivery.

Did mine two weeks ago, did it online on Friday afternoon, they received documents Monday, it was delivered on the Thursday (and it was a name change too)

I just wanted to to add to this, because I know it is always a topic!

Mine just took from filling out the form and posting my old passport last Friday very late afternoon, to it arriving in the morning post yesterday (Thursday).

I got a digital photo with a code from the local camera shop, and paid by Apple Pay! Incredible, really.

My sons took about a week. And he had to send in his EU passport too for checking. Surprisingly efficient.
