can you buy tickets online with a debit card?

because all the sites I have looked at only accept credit cards and I don't have one. Will I have to drag ds into town and pay loads more?

don;t know about long haul , but i paid for flights to spain with my switch card last week...

we don't have any credit cards - always pay by debit.
look at the sites again. It may say credit but will (should) have solo visa debit etc as an option

I will keep looking then...

I've definitely paid with Visa debit on Expedia before.
