Eurocamp/glamping where you can’t hear your neighbour’s whisper?

We are now thinking of northern Italy or Croatia for this summer. Looking at campsites for the amenities on site (we don’t need much as kids are only 6 and 2 but a pool/splash park, playground, restaurant would be good). However, every time I find something I think looks nice, the bigger picture is that the units are all lined up and about a meter away from each other!

Have previously camped and glamped in France and chosen smaller campsites where the accommodation is spaced out a bit.

Does this exist in Italy/Croatia? I’m yet to find it!

Thanks tor any words of wisdom!

I assume you’ve already sussed the google maps satellite pictures as a way of checking.

We used that to vet sites in Spain

Ah, no but good idea! I used it to look at a street view for an apartment actually but didn’t think about satellite picture. Thanks for the suggestion!

are you looking at tents? If so, the static caravans are game changer.

I was thinking of either a big tent (glamping) or a caravan yes. I know caravan’s/mobile homes have very thin walls too though and it’s these I’ve seen in photos with barely a gap between them! I know I sound miserable but have had bad experiences with fellow guests before and keen to mitigate by not being on top of people!

Arena One 99 glamping in Croatia was amazing. Whilst the tents were fairly close to each other, there were trees and bushes in between so we couldn’t hear much noise from our neighbours. No pool, but it doesn’t have a nice children’s play area and kids club.
Also, the bungalows at Sobec camping in Slovenia were well spaced out. Lots of facilities for the dc onsite.

Thanks!! This is exactly what I want, will check them out!
