Recommendations for Feb half term visit to St Ives Cornwall

Booked a fairly cheap caravan holiday for Feb half term. Just me and DD 7.
First time ever to Cornwall and didn't want to go when it was heaving.

So far I've booked:

Paradise park and playbarn
Swimming
Leach Pottery

Plan to visit the beach but know it may be cold.

Wanted to visit St Michael's Mount but know there are lots of steps and boat access isn't open at present.

Flirting with booking the Eden Project too but is quite pricey.

Grateful for further recommendations!

Where abouts in Cornwall? It's a huge county and it's about an hour from Paradise Park to the Eden project.

I don't think the steps were particularly bad at St Michel's Mount, clearly there are steps but my Mum managed and she would have been mid 70s when we visited. It is though 500m (ish) out at sea, and if no boats you need to be super careful with the tide timings as I thought the causeway was underwater at high tide. I really enjoyed visiting the Eden project and people rave about Lost Gardens of Heligan. I also wanted to go to Tintagel, but never quite got there. The maritime museum in Falmouth is good for wet days.

St Ives is an artists' colony. Why not book yourselves onto an art or pottery workshop in the town?

There's a leisure centre and cinema.

You can get the bus or drive to Lands End which is a lovely scenic drive.

Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Visit a mine.

Get wet suited up and do a surf lesson.

Get the train to Carbis Bay and have a cream tea or lunch and walk on the beach.

Do a boat trip weather permitting.
