We want to go away in June and I hate driving abroad. Anyone got any ideas for somewhere - near a beach and also has public transport for me., dp and 3 year old and 6 month baby

Anywhere on the costa Brava/Costa Dorada coastline have a wonderful beachfront train service and good local bus services too.
Somewhere alond the lines of Salou, Blanes, Estartit, Santa Susana, Malgrat

Thanks missmama - did you fly to Barcelona? Any recommendations on accomodation?

No we usually go by coach.
But fly to Gerona rather than Barcelona then just jump on a train to whichever resort you have chosen.
Cant recomend accomodation as we usually stay with friends or join the rest of the family camping on the beach.
But some of the hotels a street back from the beach front are fantastic value, you may be able to find an agent also to rent apartments.
