disney paris or disney florida?

So I need some honest opinions and bonus points if you have done both. we currently have a 12 day cruise from Southampton booked for October followed by 2 nights at Disneyland Paris. It has since come to our attention that for the same price as we are paying for said canary cruise and DLP we could in fact do 4 nights in Orlando followed by a 7 night Caribbean cruise again all in October. DD will be 5 when we go so do we keep it as it is or change to Disneyworld Florida and Caribbean?

Disney in Florida is far superior to DLP. In Florida there are 5 Disney parks.

I can't comment on the cruises by I'd choose the 2nd option if the prices are the same. Obviously Disney tickets for Florida will be more expensive but it is magical.

Option 2 without a doubt.

Florida is just a different (better) world! Way more magical at that age too. Option 2 definitely.

For the same price it seems a no brainer to pick Florida. But if the cruise is already booked, do you need to factor in cancellation costs? Are flights included in your costs for Florida?

Check the weather, isn't that hurricane season in Florida.?

Disneyland Paris is magical - if you haven't been to Florida. You can do DLP then Florida when she's older but the other way round will be an anticlimax.

I personally don't think 4 nights is long enough in Orlando (although im sure others have gone for fewer). Especially as your 5yo is likely to be tired / jet lagged and the parks are a lot more spread out than Paris. Could you extend to do 7? You'd fit more in and maybe Universal as well. Then def option 2.

Florida is bigger but it's also hurricane season, no way would I book Florida or a Caribbean cruise in October, too risky (that's why it's cheaper)
