Any recommendations for Sri Lanka? Eg cafés, restaurants, foods etc ?

When are you going @Mayodi ?
I’m interested to know the best time to go as I’d like to plan a trip.

February-march

We went over Christmas and NY. We stayed at Club Hotel Dolphin which was ok but not amazing. Good food though.
I’d do a short tour around, the roads are rubbish so it takes a long time to get anywhere.
Sigiriya is a must, Dambulla cave temples interesting too. We enjoyed Kandy and the tooth temple.
I managed to catch Giardia on the trip to Kandy though which was not fun but was sorted with some metronidazole.
