Menorca villa

We are looking to book a villa in menorca this summer. I am useless with holidays though, we’ve only done a few and did with TUI as I’ve no idea how to do it! I didn’t enjoy the whole hotel thing as I find the food overwhelming, I like the idea of a pool and just supermarket shopping easier. But booking with a travel agent was much easier.
does anyone have any easy ideas to book a villa in a town where teens won’t die of boredom.

I don't know your budget but this villa: BEAUTIFUL CHALET EN CALAN FORCAT - Villas for Rent in ciutadella de menorca, Illes Balears, Spain - Airbnb is in Ciutadella which is a decent sized city (the old capital), so lots of shops, bars, nightlife, but also lots of history. The villa is near the beach too. If that one doesn't suit, try putting Ciutadella into airbnb. Be careful of rental sites that are not the big ones. Some are genuine but there are scams about. Sometimes the scammers say "It's OK, you can pay us through Airbnb's trusted payment system", and then they send you to a clone of the Airbnb site that has a very slightly different name.

There are two similarly-sized towns (25-30,000 people) on Menorca: Mahon and Ciutadella. Both are by the sea and there is quite a rivalry between them. It's definitely worth visiting both.

Look at James Villas - we used them for years and even booked the same villa 5 years running! The San Jaime area of Son Bou is great (it's at the opposite end of the resort to the 2 big hotels). We always booked our car independently using one of the big firms based at the airport but you can do everything as a package through James Villas.

I can recommend Villa Plus, we've used them for Villas in Cala Galdana and Santo Tomas, both within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
