ANYBODY LIVE IN NORTHERN FRANCE?FREQUENT VISITOR?

hoping to go to normandy or brittany in the summer, prob going to have to be in august. I will be 6 months pregnant. What i want to know is what is the heat like at that time of year? Im not great in heat but dh rekons it'll be no diff to here...

Also anyone recommend any gites? Ideally need 2 (going with dreded in laws!)

Hi, I live in Southern Brittany, and I would say as a rule we generally have the same type of weather pattern as the south of England, but it's usually 3-5 degrees warmer here. Last year August was not great, (although the previous 3 Augusts have been scorching!) not cold, but too much rain - I too have another baby due at the end of the month and am hoping it's not too hot as well (I've been struggling this week tbh!) as to gites, I think you may struggle a bit now. August is pretty popular (ours has been booked up since last September) but I wish you luck....
