Getaway with my teen

Hello,

I am looking for a weekend getaway with my teenage son. I am really worried about him and I am hoping a little trip may help.
Any ideas would be welcome for either UK or Europe. I haven't ventured abroad on my own before but would be up for the challenge.

What does he like doing?

I would do something that puts you in an even keel, something team buildingish like a weekend at Plas y Brenin or a high ropes course, gorge walking etc. get the communication flowing a bit and see if he opens up.

Thank you for the suggestions. He loves planes and we have been to a few places like Duxford which he loved.

I do love the idea of doing a challenge together as we haven't really done anything like that before.
