Lanzarote in April with heated pool?

Looking at first week of April for last minute sun.

Went to playa blanca as a teen and remember it being a nice place. Friend has recommended Princess Yaiza suite hotel for families, but not sure if it has a heated pool or whether kids can swim in the indoor one. Anyone know?

Any other recommendations for heated pools or places to stay?

We’ve stayed at Seaside Los Jameos. They heat their pools all year round which is one of the main reasons we chose it. It’s right by the beach too.

I don't think the pools are heated at Princess Yaiza when we have been it's usually late July/early August, so I can't comment on the pool temperatures in April. I would highly recommend the Hotel though there is plenty for kids to do and lots of pool choices, the entertainment is great and location is perfect.

Thanks both! Maybe I'll contact the hotel.

The seaside los jameos looks very nice too!

Was also going to recommend Seaside Los Jameos. Excellent food and quality cocktails as well.

Yaiza is in a nice spot but I don’t recall heated pools we’ve twice been to the new Barceló Playa Blanca which is a brand new hotel (opened about this time last year). That has a HUGE pool (vast) and half is heated to a lovely temperature. I’m very fussy but this was a really wonderful holiday - we did half term week in October, a long weekend before Xmas (because we got a deal!) and will go again this year.

another good one for us was the Elba - but it was further from the town and sea. Barceló is literally right on the promenade and next to the marina.

Great, thank you. Will also look at the Barcelo

I like the barcelo, but the family rooms look perfect at the Yaiza. Tough decision... Have emailed to ask about the heating!

These sound amazing, off to investigate a needed break.

@hotnotgrot did you find a decent heated pool in the end?!
