Palma city break, where to stay

We are looking at booking a 3 night break in Palma and not sure which part of the city is best for us to stay in. Some hotels are easily accessible on the bus route from the airport, and I'm wondering if that is the best option. Those ones seem to be nearest old town Palma too.

Any advice happily received. We have been to Majorca before but not Palma.

I've recently stayed in a hotel called Isla Mallorca. It's a spa hotel (which is lovely) and is in a great spot. It's around 15 mins walk into the city, but surrounded by other hotels and restaurants.

If you're looking for at the city from the sea, it's on the far left side, going up the hill a bit in the Santa Catalina area.

The hotel was very reasonable and we had a free spa entrance. It was a faultless stay with a great breakfast and I'd highly recommend it.

In Palma I can recommend a restaurant called El Patio De Gloria. Not cheap, but if it's a special occasion it was worth every single penny. Amazing food, wine and the best service we had the whole week.

Enjoy!

We stayed at Palma Suites in the old town. Stunning aparthotel.

Booked through Easyjet holidays but you can obviously book independently.

Thank you for the ideas I will take a look. Will also look at the restaurant, it is our wedding anniversary while there so a nice restaurant for that would be great.
