Where to holiday in April - long trip

We’ve managed to use the bank holidays in April/early May to get a 17 day chunk of annual leave and would like to plan a big trip :)

I’m currently on maternity leave and baby will be about 8 months when we go. We’ve already done quite a bit of travel in the first 6 months (mix of beach and city breaks) so not concerned about travelling with baby but obviously a factor!

Any suggestions?

We've managed to max out the bank holidays too and have 18 days off, going to SE Asia

Not a bad time to explore Europe though, nice springtime? Move between cities by train?

O exciting, where are you off to in SEA asia? We are comfortable with long haul but bigger concern is the heat… we were thinking Thailand and Singapore but can’t seem to find anywhere in Thailand that isn’t 35 plus (30ish is fine)

Will also look at potential train ideas in Europe, thanks

We went to Thailand last year, going to Vietnam this year. No baby with us but primary aged DC.

The temperatures in Vietnam vary across the regions more, very hot in the south but eg Hanoi and the north is more comfortable temps than HCM that time of year. If stayed central up to north and avoided HCM the temps may not be too high for you
