2 nights with 4 year old - European city break

Any suggestions of a nice city break for 2 nights with a 4 year old? Can't do any longer as I'll have family minding baby twins.
Flying from either Dublin or Belfast. My first thought is Lisbon, zoo and aquarium is a bonus but open to anything with Europe and shortish flight time.

@POTC we don't have those things at home..... so I don't think it's unusual for people travelling to go to tourist attractions. If it was myself and my husband then we'd try go off the beaten track at bit but my daughter would love to go to an aquarium

@Havanananana ah we really can't push another night but looks amazing!

Copenhagen seems it be a huge hit.
Ultrecht looks amazing! And seems to have loads to do in and around. I then fell down a rabbit hole and seen there's a Safari in the Netherlands which I must remember when the little ones are old enough for family holidays
Nuremberg flights aren't suitable but I would never of thought of visiting.
Lisbon and Valencia, I know what to expect from both as I've been there before.

Loads to think about, I love the suggestions!

@Printedword that's an interesting take on parking the big child centered things. I'll have to have a think on that one... my little one is a sentimental soul, loves a hotdog in the park or hot chocolate on the beach type of kid.

But neither of those things are especially centred, not like Disney or a kid centred attraction

Stockholm, for similar reasons as Copenhagen. Masses for kids , museums , parks , open air museums , trams & little ferries.

Barcelona

Go to Bergamo with Ryanair. You won't regret it. There are two funiculars to ride on, and all 4 year olds love Italian food. The bars do Aperol Spritz or Negronis to take away.

Yes that's my point. I have two examples of non kid centric things she's enjoys but I can do both on holidays. Best of both worlds
