Kid friendly holiday to Italy.

Looking for a holiday in Italy, possibly with a kids club for 8 year old or a place where he can meet some friends. We like cycling, hiking, woodlands and the beach with a bit of sightseeing or activities. Also happy to camp with a tent and maybe do bike packing. Would also consider single parent holidays. Thanks

A Eurocamp type place would work. We usually camp in our own tent but thought it would be too hot in August so stayed in a mobile. We went to Lake Garda and paid extra for a lake view. It was fabulous. Not the best place for cycling but we were next to a lakeside beach with a wooden jetty that all the campsite kids were jumping off together. Loads of towns and cities close by for day trips plus Gardaland if you like a theme park.

North of Venice there is a string of resorts with loads of big campsites (the type with pools and entertainment) along the coast- Lido di Jesolo is the main one. You can get a boat to Venice. It's flat and sandy there, and a lot of people cycle IIRC. Maybe combine it with a few days of agriturismo in the Alps, which are nearby?
