We need a hotel for one night, family of 5, in or around Miami as we're traveling up from the Keys and have an Everglades tour booked early morning the following day (departing from just outside Miami, not Everglades City side). I can see there are loads of chain hotels around the Doral Mall area but they're expensive and I've no idea if that area is safe? Or would we be better off staying in Homestead/Florida City? Any recommendations please?
