Centreparcs - Can't add more than 2 infants to booking?

Hi,

I can't add more than 2 infants to our 4 bed lodge.

We have 6 adults, 2 children which cover the bed space and 3 infants but the max you can select is 2. It's not to do with occupancy as they have their own cot.

Any ideas on how to navigate this?

Thank you

Obviously, ring Centreparcs. No one here is going to be able to help you?

Thank you. I live abroad so I was hoping someone knew. I will get a friend to ring then. Thank you.

The houses aren't big enough to have 11 in a 4 bed lodge. There is limited floor space in the bedrooms.
You will almost certainly need to split into 2 smaller lodges (I don't think they have 5 bed lodges).

Probably a health and safety thing. Max 10 humans in a 4 bed. You’ll need to split into two lodges or sneak one in!

PigInAHouse · 17/01/2025 06:52

It will be due to maximum occupancy.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 17/01/2025 07:36

You need two lodges

12purplepencils · 17/01/2025 07:38

Phones work from abroad these days! You can ring them yourself!

LoopyGremlin · 17/01/2025 07:41

Is there not only 8 beds in the lodge? I would imagine that's why.

If your only response is to be a dick ask yourself why you need to respond at all.

PicaK · 17/01/2025 08:01

It might be because there just isn't room for the cot in the twin bedroom. (2 double, 2 twin in an 8 bed) or maximum occupancy.
Definitely have to contact them.

rosesl · 17/01/2025 08:03

You need 2 lodges. 10 is the max

Clearinguptheclutter · 17/01/2025 08:05

I’d just sneak them in. You won’t be the first.

I agree. It will be a maximum occupancy thing. Don't sneak them in.

Agreed. This OP's post is ridiculous.

I’d just sneak them in. You won’t be the first.

And if there was a fire or another incident you would not be insured. Also they count the occupants of the cars, so unless you are going to put the babies in the boot hidden then they won't let you check in that many people.

mitogoshigg · 17/01/2025 11:43

I'm guessing because it's a max of one child/infant per room, in a 4 bed that's a max of 4 infants/children

Ambermum · 17/01/2025 14:14

Thanks all.

My friend rang and they said that 2 infants per lodge is the maximum in any house even if you had a 6 bed. They told me to list the oldest one as a child. One of the adults wasn't planning on staying over anyway so will just come on a daypass.

I find it a bit ridiculous to be honest. What if you had infant triplets? They said technically you would have to get two lodges.

Thank you. I do know phones work abroad in most countries but I live in Thailand and I promise you, you cannot call to the UK on my contract and most contracts do not offer any international minutes - but I appreciate your sentiment @12purplepencils @PicturePlace no need to be rude. This could be helpful for others having a similar issue with the booking form.

I guess they could ring Centreparcs, also, considering they are the only ones that can answer your query?

My friend was on hold for 45mins - so yes they could but it isn't always the easiest. Thanks though.

I guess an email would have sufficed.

Glad you got it sorted and have a lovely time.
