Help me book please! 4000 family of 5

I am stuck in a loop and have lost perspective on whether the prices I'm seeing are expensive or just "the cost of holidays".

I would like to go away for either Easter holidays or for the May half term. Happy to go in summer but it seems too pricey so not considering this.

Would consider pretty much anything! (And I think this is why I'm struggling to find something because I can't narrow it down). We like nature and cities, kids would love a water park.. Not Dubai or Egypt.

I have a budget of £4000 for 5 of us (dcs 5,8,13). Ideally this covers everything but could probably do a bit more in spending money for something good. I can't find anything in this price range that looks worth the money during the school holidays.

Please can someone recommend me a holiday?

DoubleTree by Hilton Malta - onthebeach.co.uk in Malta comes in at £3277 for a week during the May half term, for a 2 bed family room all inclusive, including flights. There's no water park but there are 4 great pools (including a waterfall pool) and you're right by the beach. You're also in St Paul's bay (village) for some shops etc.

Thank you so much! You are all so helpful! Are any of these personal recommendations or do you just have better search skills than me?

I've been to the Hilton in Malta!

I found Greece all inclusive in may half term. Seats booked, extra luggage allowance and private transfer for £3500 family of 6 with TUI.
EasyJet came out cheaper but we preferred TUI for other reasons.

I was looking for a similar holiday yesterday for family of 5 in Oct half term which I know is not when you are going. However my point is, Love Holidays were a lot cheaper than EasyJet holidays, Jet2 holidays or Tui as they use Ryanair flights and have some big discounts at the moment. In the end it was cheaper still to book Ryanair flights and hotel separately with Bookkng.com.

Your money likely to go further if you get a villa and cheap flights rather than a package
