we will probably spend a day at rye and hastings (where i've heard there's a children's fair on the old town sea front and something called the west hill lift). Is clambers play centre worth the £6? it seems a lot of money. What's the children's farm like that's just outside rye? dymchurch looks good and my dad would probably like to go on the railway and ds would like the play area.

have heard of drusilla's park and yesterday's world but would they be too far? we've got a car.

is there anything else to do that's good?

Winchelsea Beach also very nice - not sandy like Camber, but fewer people.

Dungeness and the bird sanctuary are lovely.

Bodiam Castle?

hi,
hastings old town is great when its nice weather, lots of rides for LOs & arcades.
There is a new sea life kind of place there aswell.

West hill lift good too, very steep though!

Clambers is ok, nothing special really, just a normal soft play place, maybe worth it if it rains.

Have not been to the farm.

Dymchurch is ok, again nothing special imo.

Drusillas is really good, loads to do!
We went a few weeks ago, ds(18 months) loved it, There quite a few animals, loads of play areas, outside, & indoor soft play bits.
There is a thomas train that goes all around the park which you can have rides on.
Theres a huge inflatable slide, zip wires etc.
Theres so much to do, you need to spend a whole day there, think its about an hour from camber.

Yesterdays world is not very exciting for younger kids I dont think.

hth.
