Ethiopian airlines vs EasyJet

We are wanting to fly Manchester to Geneva this summer.

its £315 return for Ethiopian airlines or £550 for easyJet. I’ve always known easyJet to be very cheap like Ryanair so surprised it can be beaten on price!

does anyone have experiences of either to help us decide please?

Flew Ethiopian airlines to Ethiopia and in Ethiopia. Excellent service and planes.

For that route, definitely Ethiopian. You will be on a widebody plane as opposed to a narrowbody plus it’s cheaper!

Ethiopian have been getting decent reviews in recent years.

For info it’s a wide body aircraft because it’s a LongHaul route for the airline, the aircraft goes Manchester -> transit stop in Geneva-> Addis and Ethiopian have traffic rights (i.e. can sell tickets) for the Manchester - Geneva sector.

As an aside/a further fun fact if someone booked Manchester - Addis with them they’d be indulging in an increasingly rare example of a direct flight that is not a non-stop…

Very jealous- they're a great airline. Upgraded us to biz class when they saw our wedding photos in handluggage at security (they check you at the gate in Addis sometimes) I like Easyjet but give me Ethiopian any time.

LOVED Ethiopian Airlines. We have flown Economy and business and all the crew were lovely. They served drinks during the short delay on the way out of LHR.
Great food too.
