We have been in late April/early May and the weather was mixed. For me it wasn’t warm enough for a sun holiday but perfect weather for sightseeing. We did swim outdoors once but we were lucky with the weather that day.

I'll have a re think

We went to Turkey (Fethiye) on 9 April a couple of years ago - it was really pretty and much more green and fresh than when I've been later in the year. Daytime temp was around 20-22 degrees, so we did sunbathe, but sea was pretty chilly and we did have a couple of downpours. We did say we would probably leave it another month if went again.

However the resort was wonderfully quiet except for mostly Turkish visitors (all wearing big winter coats and looking bemused at us in our swimsuits 😝).
