Club Med Portugal

Hi, looking for an all-inclusive summer break, and was wondering if anyone has experience of Club Med, specifically the Portugal one? I've read that in some of their resorts, the staff and guests speak mainly French (which we don't!) - does anyone have any experience of this place?
Alternatives we're looking at are Stella Palace Aquapark in Crete, and Eden Villas in Portugal, but everything is just so pricey!
Thank you!

Eden villas are lovely. Been pre covid, but not that keen on albufeira. It's quite run down to what it was in the old town I think. We were there last year but stayed in Salgados. Was quite disappointed with the old town.

I went to one in Italy that’s now closed and I enjoyed the holiday but I did feel bad for my DC as over 99% of the guests were French. My teens can speak a little French and one tried to join in the clubs but it didn’t really work. We did do lots of fun family things and who knew we such a family of good archery players? The food was very good and all the evening shows were in French or some were no language shows such as dancing.

Mark Warner holidays are good but it’s the other extreme where everyone is middle class British.

Thank you, that's what I'm afraid of, as hoping to find a good teen club for the children to mix with others.
