Hotel recommendations

I need a few good recommendations for some upcoming trips then thought maybe a thread for all might be a good idea?

Anyone got a rec for:

• a night in Basel for my DD13 and I, would be nice for it to be a bit fancier as we have a long journey there. Up to £250/night for one night
• 3 nights in Florence for DD13 and I, cheaper but comfortable (we can share a bed) and comfortable, pref under £500 for the 3 nights
• 3 nights in Ghent, DH and I, mid-range, king sized beds, city centre. Up to £700 for the 3 nights
• 1 night in Bruges, luxury, romantic, something special, but not more than £400 for the night

Florence- Plus Florence, Florence (updated prices 2025). It's a hostel but is lovely, you can get a private double room with ensuite. It's a great location and has a pool.
