Anyone used Seascanner?

I know there is plenty of cruise threads but I wonder if anyone used Seascanner to make a booking? We're hoping to book our very first cruise and I chatted to Seascanner who were able to offer price £250 cheaper than going direct with P&O.
Has anyone got any experience with them? What are pros and cons of not booking directly but via an agent, please? I'm scared of spending a lot of hard earned money money and losing it. I read so many horror stories of people being robbed online... thank you!

We always book our cruises via an agent for a better price. Haven’t used seascanner but they say they’re ABTA and ATOL and part of cruise.co.uk who are very well known.

P&O will price match if you have a written quote.

Do you have a Blue Light card by any chance, extra discount or on board credit with P&O.

We've booked via Seascanner and others before, usually as long as it's a like for like booking (same cabin grade, fare type etc) P&O will price match if you call them and ask, depending who you speak to it's either immediate and done when booking, or you send a screen shot if like fir like quote and they will amend (can't have this with any extra P&O offers such as extra onboard spend with blue light)
