Has anyone travelled with just an under seat bag?

I am just about to book a five solo trip to a hot country and am debating whether to save £90 and not take a suitcase. Has anyone travelled with EasyJet or Tui with only a bag that will fit under the seat? I’m not sure if I’m crazy to consider it.

Easyjet underseat size is larger than Ryanair. Buying a bag the exact dimensions helps. I am a big fan of packing cubes both to fit in the bag and compress clothes but also for popping straight into drawers at hotel.
Capsule wardrobe mix and match with complimenting colours help and you can buy any toiletries in the airport and carry them on in a carrier bag separately.
One trip I packed clothes I did not want to keep and swopped them for souvenirs on the last day (swimsuit that was getting thin etc)
