Help me with Canary Islands at Easter

Hello everybody,

know nothing about the Canary Islands. It’s just me and my husband both in our 50s want a nice hotel quite quiet and measured to read books and laze out in the Sun. No clubs or entertainment.

where should I look at

We went to Fisherman's Cottage in Tenerife one year. You'd need a car though.

We like Royal Sun Resort you van book directly or through TUI.

Each room has a massive balcony and sun loungers with the most amazing view.
There are buffet and fine dining restaurants on site, a shop with freshly baked bread and each room has a kitchenette. Room Service also available. We went half board with TUI but just charged all additional food, drinks, ice creams to the room so like AI but you only pay for what you actually have. Large supermarket nearby.

They have an entertainment team pair that play a few games during the day mostly for children, an hour of children's club and then evening entertainment until 10 but you can't here it from your room

The main tourist town and beach is down a hill (taxi is cheap and frequent if you don't want to walk back up) so it's very quiet. There is a major bus station so solo trips around the island is easy and there is a marina for dolphin and whale watching trips if that's your thing or you can hire a paddle board or kayak.
