Heathrow T3 - which lounge is best?

I rarely fly long haul so have never used a lounge before, however soon we will be flying from Heathrow T3 on a morning flight and we want to book one of the lounges. Has anyone used both Aspire and No. 1? Which was better? We won't have any children with us and are looking a chilled adult focused experience with decent food.

No 1 is better than aspire

Another vote for number 1 here too - I’m not sure if Heathrow do the Clubrooms, but it’s def worth upgrading too.

I’ve only used No1. We chose it over aspire because it had better reviews. It was the first time we’d booked a lounge and we’ve booked the same one again for our next flight.

Another lounge question if you would mind!

If my flight is at 10.00, and you can use the lounge for 3 hours, should I book it from 6.00-9.00 or 6.30 - 9.30?
I'm assuming I will need to be at the gate at about 9.30 and it will take a bit of time to find it. Is this right?

For No1 lounge it’s 3 hours before youour flight time rather than 3 hours of access. They go off the time on your boarding pass so you need to book from 7-10. You won’t be able to get into the lounge any earlier than 7 without booking extra hours.
