Northern Italy recommendations

Hi,

looking for recommendations for a nice resort for a family of 4 in northern Italy- kids are 8 and 4.

Not set on an area yet but quite keen to try Italy!

By resort due you mean seaside resort? Budget? What time of year? For how long?

Le Torri del Garda

Somewhere close to the sea. I’m not keen on anything like euro camos; would much prefer a resort. Could be hotel or collection of apartments.
