Hi everyone! 😊
I'm looking to plan a short break in Europe for myself, my mum, and my 6-year-old daughter. We're hoping for somewhere that has activities and sights that all three of us can enjoy together. We love a mix of cultural visits, fun activities for kids, and some relaxation.
We'd appreciate any recommendations for cities or towns that are easy to navigate and family-friendly. We're open to all kinds of suggestions, from beach destinations to bustling cities.
Thanks in advance for your help! 🌟

Seville? It's a very walkable city, lots to do with kids https://visitsouthernspain.com/things-to-do-in-seville-with-kids

Valencia would be ideal. It’s coastal, walkable and safe. The three main family attractions are The City of Arts and Sciences, Aquarium Oceanografic and Bioparc. It’s got a beach, markets and a lovely big park with bike hire, pedalos, playgrounds, rose gardens and picnic areas.

Palma Majorca is a lovely small city, catch the wooden tourist train to Soller and the tram down to Port De Soller for another nice little town and a nice beach.

Palma Mallorca. Loads of flights, safe, walkable, play parks everywhere, ride on HoHo bus ducking to avoid tree branches on some lovely streets. Great shops El Corte Inglés department store restaurant for good views and a rest.

Venice - like nowhere else. Novelty of canals not roads. Get water taxi to hotel reception. Gelateria etc. Avoid high summer and also flooding season.

Florence - lots of lovely gelateria, pizza, pasta, loads to see and do.

Copenhagen - Tivoli World, clean, safe , expensive!

Amsterdam - canal ride, different feel

Thanks everyone! I’ve wanted to do Florence for years- and also Valencia and Seville. We did Venice in March 2020- Great trip with 18 month old DD but we flew back into having to quarantine!
Mum is in Iceland this week on a girls trip so I will run these past her on her return!
