How much spending money for 2 days in Barcelona?

We have 3 nights /2 days
1st night we will just grab a pizza when we get there.
Only thing we plan to do is the hop on hop off bus
How much do you think spends we will need?
We have mentally budgeted £500 for both of us
Is this enough?
Will we need more ?
We are getting the metro there and back (airport ) and rest of the time walking /hop on bus
During the day we will probably grab food from a bakery /cafe and on the night go for a meal (nothing fancy just Italian or tapas )

I've got a buffer of around £200 in my bank
So £700 altogether but would hope not to spend much of that

Honestly, a meal at a normal restaurant won’t be much more than €20pp (that’s about £17). So say £100 per day for food. That still leaves you with £300 to spend - I’m honestly struggle to think of what you could do that costs that much, unless you’re planning to do lots of shopping!

Edit to add: if they charge you a lot more than that, it’s a touristy spot 😂 Head for the less touristy streets for local prices - and menus.

I think that’s loads. It obviously depends what you want to do but Barcelona is the kind of city you could walk around all day looking at beautiful places!

Oh that's okay then
I think the hop on bus will be around 90 euro for the 2 day ticket and that's about it
Then it's just food and a couple of drinks
Might pop in a few shops but hand luggage only so can't really buy anything
Apart from the obligatory fridge magnet

@RobinHood19 I've been told to not eat on La Rambla as the prices are a lot higher there

Would you say it's like London /dublin prices ?
We went in the temple bar in Dublin last year and nearly fell through the floor at the prices (to be expected tho )

Are you planning to take cash? Just thinking that when we've done the bus tours and things like cathedral entry in other cities, we've always done them online. Not saying you can't pay cash, just that I'm not sure.

£125 each per day for food and drink sounds about right. It’s a wander and enjoy city. Have you booked tickets though for the sights you want to see?
