Where in Italy - mobile home on campsite

I've gone through loads of threads about family hols in Italy in the summer.

Narrowed my search down to:

Hu Norceni Girasole (Tuscany)
Camping Campagne (Lake Mag)
Isolino (Lake Mag)
Bella Italia (Lake Garda)
Union Lido (Venice)

We will be travelling from the Austrian Alps by train having done a weeks mountain walking holiday.

Two tweens.

Questions

  • is Garda hideously busy in the summer?
  • what's Maggiore like compared to Garda?
  • is the heat of Tuscany too much in August? Being near a pool is a given!

Thoughts welcome as I'm struggling to make a decision!

Kids want fun and water after mountains 😃

Union Lido is fabulous and right on a massive Sandy beach.

Union Lido is much better than Bella Italia. The saving grace of the latter is its proximity to Gardaland.

we loved Pra del torri - direct access to beach with pedelos etc, big pools/slides, onsite parks suitable tweens, several different resturants, takeaways and shops onsite.
Bookable sunloungers!!!

@LimoncelloSpritz @Forgottenmyphone

Thanks for responding.

Did you book directly or through Eurocamp / other?

Which accommodation do you recommend? Their website is a minefield!

We booked through Eurocamp and stayed in a 3 bed mobile home. They have some lovely looking villa type things instead through different companies/direct but they were out of our price range.
