New Year All Inclusive recommendations

Can anyone recommend a resort or holiday for late December and over new year.

2 adults, 1 5YO and 1 2YO.

We have a few must haves:

  • Must be warm and be a resort/ hotel complex as opposed to a city
  • We have multiple allergies and are big foodies so must have good communication and multiple restaurants, with a la carte options at all times of day
  • must be a flight less than 12 hours (so basically not Australia or Asia)
  • relatively modern with good amenities

Additional ideals would be some kind of event on NYE, and multiple pools, beach, ideally some form of children’s club or nursery/babysitting.

To be honest we are usually cruisers around this time of year but are finding it very frustrating that the children are charged full price on all but a few cruise lines. Timings are also weird for cruise schedules in December.

TIA!

Oh sorry budget! Ideally less than £10k inclusive of flights but I appreciate that might not be feasible and I’m open minded for the right place.

I just got back from the Maldives and paid £6k all inc for 2a1c including direct flights with Virgin. Flight time is 10-11 hours.

However there would be an element of buffet meals- but they were great with allergies.

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences in Mexico has a massive choice of pools and a la carte restaurants. I haven't stayed at NY though so don't know how they celebrate.

This is exactly what I’m looking for OP and was also leaning towards a cruise but finding the schedule hard around school holidays - so I’m just following for ideas!

would love a link to where you booked your Maldives holiday Twilight - am finding a huge variation in pricing between different companies and 6k is much more what I was thinking!
