For my 50th birthday, taking 2 daughters 18 & 22. They are dead set on Thailand, there's lots I'd like to do there but I am not remotely a hardened traveller so I'm a bit anxious about it all. However, it's reasonably priced (for the destination) probably because I'm reading it's the start of monsoon season. So to expect rain. For anyone who has been - will it ruin our holiday? We're not ones for sitting round the pool for hours so will be out and about lots. I've read that it doesn't rain constantly, just short bursts. Anyone any experience?
