Late May destination with an 18m old

I am looking for somewhere to go in late May (half term) for my wife's 40th birthday, with our 18m old girl. Ideally 2/3 nights - we're not bothered about the heat or beaches but just somewhere that's good for toddlers and adults? Thank you!

Nice, or one of the neighbouring towns like Antibes, or Juan Les Pins might be good. Short flight, easy transfer, good public transport. Nice has a big carousel on the seafront, a huge prom for toddling on. Tourist Train or the lift up to the colline du chateau where there is a good playground. Vieux Nice is lovely for a wander round. Juan Les Pins has the best beach - really shallow, good for paddling, and some nice beach clubs where you can have lunch on the sand.
