I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations or advice for bodyboarding in Europe please?
We have been to Cornwall many times and love bodyboarding (as opposed to surfing) as a family.
But obviously weather very unpredictable in the UK
A couple of years ago we tried Lacanau in France.
Although gorgeous (and a bit too hot!) we found it was much more focused on surfing and not very bodyboard friendly (despite there being many there).
A bit of googling tells me there are many surf spots in Europe, but I wonder how many are inclusive of bodyboarders in reality?
We wondered about canary islands or Portugal (even though we will be scorching ;-).
Failing that , I seem to recall bodyboarding in Northern France when I was a teenager, but not sure the weather will be much better than Cornwall, and which spots to go for etc.
Ps we haven't done many abroad beachey holidays, hence why no idea..
