Partner is 40 just before the Easter break (Mid April) and we want to celebrate by going away. Kids are 5 and 1…last year Mumsnet helped me plan 2 holidays so am back for more help!
We originally thought Mexico but a 10 hour flight with my daughter is probably too painful and it’s a little out of budget really.
So, can anyone recommend a really good place for a city break with young kids. We have previously done Barcelona and that’s it really in terms of cities. Thinking zoos/aquariums/parks/museums and a place that is child friendly if you go to the right places.
Or, last year we went to GC which was nice for some decent weather. Stayed in apartments in Mogan but you also got breakfast which was a nice relief! We always hire a car in places like that. So another Canary island resort that isn’t too chavtastic?
Or anyone else had an amazing holiday with smalls at that time of year which they’d recommend?
