anyone ever stayed at alcudia pins hotel in majorca?

We have, but only took DD, before DS was born, and DS is now 12! It is very well placed between Alcudia and (I think) Ca'an Picafort. The bus stops right outside the hotel and goes to both towns. We preferred the smaller town for eating in to Alcudia (which is heaving) but Alcudia is nice to visit.

The hotel is right on the beach and has a great pool. There was also an evening Disco & kids disco (DD loved it). You have to hire sun beds if you want one on the beach - none provided.

The sea is great and fab for little ones as you can walk out for miles it is so shallow and calm.

DH got eaten alive by mozzies on our first night as he paddled/swam in sea and walked along beach, wet, at night!

We really enjoyed it, but it WAS years ago.

No not stayed looked at going there in a few weeks but we have changed our mind now. Looked on trip advisor and it has mixed reviews but then so do many places it is hard to know what is good and what is bad sometimes as people view things so differently.

If you decide to go let us know what you think. Alcudia itself is great have been a few times but before kids.
