Where would you lovely lot say make sure you go… don’t miss this etc please?

I should have a car available for at least 4 days.

Age range will be 1 year old, 6 year old, possibly 8 and 11 year olds up to almost 81…

We're staying with family in Newquay in Mid May to very belatedly mark my DM’s 80th. We’ve all had a rough 18 months and I think the break and opportunity to see her much missed family will do Mother the world of good.

But I need recommendations for things to see and do!

Thank you.

Have you been to Cornwall before? I would say you pretty much need a car the entire time really, unless you want to basically stay at the beach all day - depending on the time of year of course. That being said you could always explore the villages and browse the little shops - not too sure how easy that would be with young babies and elderly of course. I recommend the Eden project on the day you do have a car, polperro model village is also pretty cool, there's also lands end. There's of course plenty of beaches, I personally recommend Crantock beach.

@Imonmyway she’s pretty spritely, she and the 6 year old are well matched pace and distance wise!

@kiana2015 DM has been many years ago, me as a child but otherwise not at all.
we’re likely to be there Sunday to Sunday, the suggestion is I’ll have access to the car Monday to Friday whilst family is at work/school.
