I wouldn’t personally, there’s nothing there for that age really that makes it worth the distance

For winter sun at that age I’d go for Canaries. Or if you are prepared to brave a longer flight then Mauritius.

There is so much to do for kids of that age.

Splash parks, zoo, green planet, aquarium, so many soft plays in every single mall.

Emirates is amazing with young kids.

We have young dc and family in Dubai so go regularly. Been taking them since they were babies.

Completely disagree with the above post that says there is nothing for kids of that age. There is loads to do, if you want to do it.

If you are looking for an ai resort with a baby club, then maybe Dubai isn't it.

As for where to stay - just don't stay on the palm. It is expensive and a headache (with traffic) to get on and off.

Ok ! I stand corrected.

Forgot to mention it will be around September / October time! Any suggestions on what location to stay in? Is getting around easy?

I found it busy and noisy. My DC in a buggy and getting from a to b was a bit of a mare. It certainly wasn't a relaxing trip.

Kite beach is nice. A hotel with a good pool. The Dubai mall and dinner overlooking the fountain and burj khulifa was great with my one year old.

There is an app called Kareem or something that's like uber but you can order cars with car seats.

I loved grand Hyatt in the city centre as it has amazing long buffet breakfast it was so good for getting bang to try stuff and you can bring a couple tupperwares to take stuff for pack lunch snacks by the pool
