Is BA Premium Economy worth it?

We have two red eye flights to Southern Africa with British Airways. We can get premium economy for about £360 extra each return. Worth it?

Yep, we flew premium long haul a few weeks ago and it made a real difference, especially for my tall husband. Kids slept really well on the night flight too.

For that price, I would definitely do it.

You get a bit more space (lengthways and widthways) and that's worth it, in my opinion. It's not massive but it's significantly more comfortable.

I wouldn't particularly rate it in other ways (food, drink, entertainment), but the space is the main thing.

Another Option is to buy extra leg room in economy. Makes a big difference.

Absolutely. Last time I travelled LH ended up in the 2 person on the front row. Dreamy. All the leg room in the world.

The only time I travelled premium economy I was upgraded to business.
