Gran Canaria - where to stay for great food

Never been but hoping to get a last minute break next month to Gran Canaria.
Where can we head for to get great food?
Any recommendations of places to stay or restaurants please.

I'm not sure about specifically for food but we stayed in Puerto Mogan last year and it was just the loveliest resort. Quiet but absolutely loads of restaurants to choose from and we had some excellent meals out.

Lopesan Costa Meloneras resort had a least 4 a La carte restaurants including an Argentinian grill, Italian, Japanese and pan-Asian.

Cute restaurants in the marina of Morgan. But for the best choice you need to stay in the capital.

This is a really good guide for some great restaurants, some of which a Michelin Star

I can highly recommend this resort, it’s beautiful. I was amazed at the quality of the restaurants and how they catered for all sorts of intolerances, gluten free, lactose intolerance etc.

We stayed in Hotel Livvo, fantastic location, lovely waterfront restaurant, great rooms. It has 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor, we had a fantastic holiday there.
